Assay Development Engineer
You work in multi-disciplinary projects to develop a diagnostic medical device platform. Your focus is on the development of the assay and the integration in a cartridge.
Your responsibilities:
• Supporting assay development towards different markers and integration on cartridge and reader/software.
• Final development and process development towards a product (setting-up stability studies and in-process control performance evaluation, verification, validation).
Profile:
• a bachelor or master of science degree in biochemistry or comparable;
• 3-5 years of work experience in product development in immunochemistry. This includes the know-how of transferring your work towards production. You have also experience with biochemical techniques like bead conjugation and ELISA's.
• a hands-on mentality, good documentation and reporting skills.
• experience with working in projects preferably in IVD setting.
• (preferably) experience with bio-physical research, integration of reagents on the cartridge and with integration with reader and software.
• the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team (colleagues have backgrounds in physics, chemistry, electronics, fluidics).
